Choosing the correct iPad model is critical. EnCloz enclosures are precision‑fit to specific iPad generations, so selecting the right model ensures a secure, slim, and professional installation.

We recommend using iPads that are currently supported by Apple and eligible for iPadOS updates. Models that are no longer supported are shown below with a strikethrough.

How to Identify Your iPad Model

Check the back of your iPad. Apple prints a model number that starts with “A” (for example, A2696).
Match that number to the list below to confirm your exact iPad generation.
Select the matching model on the EnCloz product page.

Note: When you see “3g / 4g / 5g,” this refers to the generation of the device—not cellular or network service.
